State foreign experts administrator meets with Tianjin University principal

Zhang Jianguo, the director of China's State Foreign Expert Affairs Administration (SAFEA), met with Prof Li Jiajun, principal of Tianjin University, on Dec 31, to discuss the "1,000 Talent Plan" hiring project, in Beijing, and praised the university for its work in introducing more foreign personnel, with Li responding by expressing his thanks for the administration's continued support.

Also taking part in the meeting were Zhang Yali, deputy head of SAFEA, Wei Dawei, head of its Cultural and Educational Experts Dep't, and various officials.
