Thai Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra Visited Tianjin

Thailand Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra came to Tianjin to pay a visit to the biggest portal city in North China by the inter-city bullet train. She was deeply impressed by the city and said that she would strengthen exchange and cooperation among cities and regions in China and Thailand.

Ms. Shinawatra and her delegation was met with Zhang Gaoli, Secretary of Tianjin Municipal Committee of the CPC and member of the Political Bureau of China. Mr. Zhang briefed the social and economic development of Tianjin.

He said: "Tianjin has conducted friendly cooperation with Thailand in many fields. In the future, the municipal government will encourage more Tianjin companies to invest in Thailand in order to promote a more profound cooperation in business, tourism, technology and education between the two sides."
