The China International Private Equity Forum is a grand meeting approved by the State Council and co-sponsored by Tianjin Municiple People’s Government, All-China Federation Of Industry & Commerce (ACFIC) and Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). The forum focuses on global capital flow, establishing direct financing platforms, supporting healthy growth of enterprises and accelerating coordinated regional development.
CIPEF was initially set up in Tianjin in 2007, and has been held once a year in Tianjin ever since. The conference is of importance because it provides a platform for participating enterprises to conduct direct financing and equity investment, and further boost development of the capital market. So far, it has become the largest and most influential conference in the field of international investment and financing.
The Forum’s theme is finance for science and technology. Its purpose is to provide multilevel financial services after a pre-forum project selection, investment matching and speedy communication, and comprehensive follow-up services. There will also be special forums on policy orientation and recent trends. Organizers expect 300 financial intermediaries and 2,000 enterprises to attend, and a total of 5,000 people in all.
