As the developer of China's first 3D carton animation series "3D Cartoon Opera Selection", Tianjin Yingfang Digital Audiovisual Media Technology Co. Ltd signed a cooperation letter with Tianjin Sorun Digital Software Technology Co. Ltd (branch office of Japan Sorun) on Oct. 31 in Tianjin. They claimed that they will work together to complete the opera cartoons and will bring it to the world.
"3D Cartoon Opera Selection" has 60 episodes each lasting 5 to 6 minutes. They have been developed by Yingfang's own digital 3D technology. Yingfang selects the classic opera plays, combines them with 3D technology and modern video shooting techniques to form a fresh and interesting opera selection.
By now, some famous plays like "Loss of Jie Ting Fort", "the Trick of Empty City", "Killing Ma Su", "By the West Wind" and "Ding Jun Shan" have been completed.
Yang Haoyu, the project director of Yingfang told the reporter, "Based on confidence in the traditional culture and deep understanding of creative thinking, we try to combine classic opera with modern 3D animation technology, hope more and more young people perceive Beijing opera in new way, so that Chinese traditional culture will be preserved well and be passed down generation to generation."
The Project Manager of Sorun said at the ceremony, Chinese has a saying "Never forget the hands who feed you". Japanese traditional culture is deeply influenced by Chinese culture. We are willing to introduce Chinese traditional opera to Japanese people as well as the rest of the world. In this way, more people can experience the uniqueness of Chinese traditional culture.
