Jiangsu won the gold medal of women's soccer (youth group) at the 11th Chinese National Games with a 4-0 win over Shanghai here on Wednesday.
Jiangsu, which was stronger than their opponent, scored two goals in each half. Xu Yanlu, a key player of China's national youth team, played an important role for the victory with two goals.
Cheng Guanghong, head coach of Jiangsu, said after the match that the team had focused on speed and strength, which was the secret of victory.
Shanghai finished second and Tianjin settled for the third.
