2200011 square meter Qilihai Wetland, known as a green lung for Beijing and Tianjin, and a national natural reserve in China. It is one of the 3 largest Palecoast’s in the world.

Beginning from 2007, northeast Tianjin’s Ninghe County began to renovate the wetland in order to better protect and make use of the natural resources.

From this July, some renovation works have been finished and open to visitors as Tianjin’s largest ecological education base.
