Expressway ramp bridge collapse kills 6, injures 4

The accident occurred on early Wednesday morning when the ramp bridge on the expressway from Tianjin to Shanxi Province suddenly collapsed and five vans crashed, causing six people dead and four others injured. The accident has closed down the Tianjin section of the pivotal expressway linking to the northern Shanxi Province and caused congestions in the downtown areas. As of 10 a.m., Xinhua reporters were still unable to reach the site.
