Ten riders to pedal from Taishan Mountain to Mount Everest

The Tai'an-Tibet cycling event, sponsored by the Tai'an Cycling Association, started on Tianwaicun Square on May 15, according to tarb.cc.

Ten cycling enthusiasts will finish the 4,000-kilometer journey through more than 40 cities within 35 days.

Along the way, they will give out tourist souvenirs and publicity materials from Tai'an to introduce the city.
