Volunteers to help ease the Spring rush

With the Spring Festival travel rush underway again this year, Tai'an city, Shandong province has launched a volunteering service to help ease the flow of traffic in the main square of Mountain Taishan Railway Station, on Jan 24, Tai'an Daily reported.

Currently about 400 volunteers are helping along with the local railway, bus and coach stations. During the 40-day travel rush period, the volunteering work will cover all the key transportation points in the city, and volunteers will provide services such as showing directions, giving travel advice, keeping order, helping those in need and responding to emergencies.
