SPC vice-president meets with permanent representatives at Geneva
A delegation of some countries' permanent representatives at Geneva praised the results of China's judicial reform and informatization as it visited Bejing on June 17.
Courts at various levels in China keep promoting judicial reform, informatization and publicity, said Gao Jinghong, vice-president of China's Supreme People's Court.
Trial quality, personnel capability and judicial credibility have consequently been largely improved, added Gao.
Baghli, Permanent Representative of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, spoke highly of the work made by China, on behalf of the delegation.
China attached great importance to judicial guarantees for human rights and promoting criminal procedure reform to realize the combination of those guarantees and criminal punishment, said Gao.
