China's top security chief Meng Jianzhu met with Haidar Ahmed Dafa'alla, Sudan’s chief justice and president of the country’s top court, in Beijing on Sept 28.

Meng said China and Sudan enjoy a long and deep friendship.

Since the rule of law is a common value of all mankind it is also an important part of the China-Sudan relationship, said Meng.

Meng said he hopes the two sides will learn from each other and promote judicial cooperation to a new height, thus contributing to the China-Sudan relationship.

Haidar echoed Meng, urging closer ties between the two countries in the judicial field.

He also expressed his wishes for further enhancement of the relationship between the two sides.
