SPC vice president meets European Union delegation
SPC vice president Tao Kaiyuan met with a European Union delegation led by Carmen Cano, deputy head of the EU delegation to China, in Shanghai March 17.
After a briefing on the SPC’s Research Center for Judicial Protection on Intellectual Property Rights and the Chinese Courts International Exchanges Base (Shanghai) for Judicial Protection of Intellectual Property Rights, Tao reviewed judicial exchanges between the SPC and the EU and talked with delegates about cooperation plans.
Tao visited the Shanghai Intellectual Property Court and affirmed its progress on promotion of openness, convenience, intelligence and internationalization in litigation. She encouraged the court to continue to excel in adjudication and enforcement and grow into an important hub for international exchange on IP judicial protection.
Cui Yadong, president of the Shanghai municipal higher people's court, also took part in Tao’s investigative tour.
