A spring job fair was held at Shanxi University on April 13. Over 140 companies attended, seeking to hire university graduates.

More than 5,000 jobs were offered to around 1,000 jobseekers attending the fair. Around 100 graduates reached preliminary agreements with employers on the spot.

Shanxi University plans to further connect and cooperate with more companies to facilitate the employment of graduates and improve the graduate employment service platform to promote a higher rate of employment, according to Wang Xianzhong, director of the university’s employment guidance center.
