A nine-member delegation led by Professor Dong Lei from the Institute of Laser Spectroscopy at Shanxi University visited Tokai University in Japan to take part in an important academic exchange from Feb 19 to 25.
The group visited the laboratories of Professor Asobe Masaki from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering at Tokai University to learn about the development of experiments focused on photoacoustic sensors.
The two sides also shared their latest research findings and discussed possible future partnerships.
The visit was part of an event facilitated by the Sino-Japanese Youth Science and Technology Communication System launched by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2014. Over 5,000 young Chinese technological researchers and students have so far taken part in exchange visits as part of the initiative.
