Shanxi University scooped 80 awards during the 10th Shanxi Social Sciences Research Excellent Achievement Award which took place recently.

The total number of awards and each prize that the university received placed it first among winners from Shanxi province, with the famed education establishment taking home 10 first prizes, 20 second prizes and 28 third prizes. It also won an additional 22 awards for excellence in various fields.

Shanxi Social Sciences Research Excellent Achievement Award is the highest social sciences award authorized by the provincial Party committee and the provincial government. It is organized every two years and aims to promote the development of philosophy and social sciences in Shanxi.
