Rafiqul Gani, a professor of the Chemical Engineering Department at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), took part in an academic exchange at Shanxi University (SXU) on May 16.

The professor introduced the applications of chemistry in different areas. And while talking about quantum chemistry and chemical engineering, he showed the applications of systems engineering in the design and development of chemical products.

During the symposium, Rafiqul Gani discussed with teachers and students issues relating to chemistry-related disciplines and research, and put forward suggestions for the development of scientific disciplines.

The main activities of DTU's Chemical Engineering Department lie in areas such as product and process design in the chemical, biotech, and energy industries.
