Shanxi University bagged 23 gold medals and took first place at the Shanxi Provincial Swimming Contest 2016 on Dec 4.

The university’s team has topped the competition for ten consecutive years. With the victory at this contest, ten swimmers from the university will represent the province to compete in the national sports contest next year.

The two-day event was sponsored by the Shanxi Provincial Education Department, the province’s student sports association, and swimming administrative center. A total of 578 swimmers participated in the competition, hitting a record high.
