An agricultural household in the rural area of the city of Datong, Shanxi province, had a good harvest this year, thanks to the advanced growing methods.

Yu Yongguo, a farmer in Hunyuan county of the city, made good profits from his 1.4 hectares farmland cultivating maize, with an average production of 37 kilograms of corns per hectare, though in the year of heavy drought.
