An exhibition of old objects is being shown to the public at the ancient city walls south of Datong, North China's Shanxi province, from Sept 30 to Oct 7, to recall old memories from the last century.
Old furniture, appliances, photographs, and toys are all included in the collection. The exhibition will be divided into different sections to let the visitors re-experience consumption and recreation styles in the past.
The exhibition has objects used in daily life in the 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s. Visitors can find old-style clothes, tableware, transportation tools, and also old newspapers, discs, radios and snacks that were popular in their childhood.
There will also be a consumption area where visitors can buy some of the objects from the past that interests them. In addition, a game zone will let you revisit your childhood memories. By joining the competitions, visitors have a chance to win some of the exhibits. Datong Daily is organizing the event.
