Eighth Shanxi Elderly Health Care Expo to arrive in September

The eighth Shanxi Elderly Health Care Expo will launch in tandem with the fifth Taiyuan Elderly Art Festival from Sept 12 to 15 in Taiyuan.
In addition to appliances for the elderly, like the exhibits in past sessions, the 2014 expo will include an area to display services targeted towards the elderly.
According to statistics, the population of elderly over 60 years old reached 4.77 million in Shanxi at the end of 2013. This figure is estimated to hit 5.5 million by 2020. The needs for diverse elderly services will grow as a result. In response to this, this year’s elderly health care expo will attach much importance to promote services related to elderly care.
