Electronic commerce has developed rapidly in Shanxi province, thanks to Shanxi Electronic Commerce Club which helps deal with the storage, logistical and funding challenges that small enterprises face.

Founded in October 2012, the club has grown into the most influential organization in the industry, with more than 3,000 local members. Since its establishment, it has held two annual electronic commerce conferences, winning support from Shanxi Commerce Department and electronic commerce tycoons.
