The Taiyuan International Marathon, in Shanxi province, set to involve a field of 30,000 competitors, takes place on Sept 13 and features four events - full, half, mini and parent-offspring marathons.

Registration has begun and lasts until midday on August 13. An identification certificate is required, together with a completed registration form. Entrants wishing to take part as a group should complete a group form. All forms are available at www.tygjmls.com or you can collect the form at the scene. Registration spots include Taiyuan Sports Competition Management Center, Shanxi Bowei Culture and Sports Development Co and Taiyuan Running Association.
