This is the No 1 special bus line, with Datong Railway Station as its starting point, and passing the North Wuding intersection of Weidu Avenue with East Dongfeng St., Yuxiuyuan Community, Caochangcheng intersection of Weidu Avenue where Pingcheng Street crosses Weidu Avenue, Datong No 2 Hospital, Datong Park, Qingyuan Street, Yingze St., Datong 322 Hospital, No 4 Bus Co, Tongquan intersection of Yungang St., Wulidian Electromechanical City, Majunying, Lvyuan No 3, Yingfang, Yunfo Community, Xiaozhan, Guanyin Hall, Qingciyao village, Jinhuagong Coal Mine, and the terminal point at Yungang Grottoes.
The whole line is 20 kilometers long, and tickets cost 2 yuan. Travelers can take a bus every 12-15 minutes, and there are a total of 13 double-deck buses now in use.
