The commerce bureau of the city of Datong, Shanxi province has reported that it will be working on creating a more modern regional business and trade center this new year, by relying on the city’s tourism and culture resources. It will also develop modern business and trade services, and bulk commodity and logistics services, as well as building a leisure and tourism demonstration area

Datong plans to be more flexible in its commerce and promote consumer spending and will adjust its inter-regional trade structure and develop in a more scientific way.

The city will rely on the market as a guide and work on organizing new construction projects and either improving or eliminating out-of-date busineeeses and mainly rely on its enterprises with government and policy support.
