The Datong Bulk Cement Association convened its inaugural meeting at Yanbei Hotel in downtown Datong on Oct 23.

As a dominant industry in Datong, the cement industry plays a significant role in driving transformational development of the city.

A series of related regulations and documents were finalized through discussion at the conference. Zhang Yanjun was elected as chairman of the association.

Vice-Mayor Cao Huibin attended the conference and delivered a speech. Cao pointed out that the establishment of the Bulk Cement Association is a necessary step in propelling the development of the industry. He hopes the association can motivate the healthy and orderly growth of the industry in Datong.
