Taiyuan's parks
Jinci Park

Jinci Park sits in a piedmont 25 kilometers south of Taiyuan. It's an ancestral temple of Prince Jin and was built in the Northern Wei Dynasty (368-534) in memory of Ji Yu, second son of King Wu of the Zhou Dynasty. The park is now a culture relic site under State protection.

The park is home to dozens of ancient buildings and enjoys a serene environment, an imposing architectural complex and superb sculpture art. The park integrates ancient Chinese architecture for sacrifice, gardens, sculpture, murals and stone inscription. It's now considered a place one must see when traveling in Taiyuan.
