The 2015 Coal Trade Fair and Summit Forum kicked off on Dec 22 in the China Taiyuan Coal Transaction Center. The summit allows many renowned experts to share their views about the influence of China's slowing economic growth on coal and other resources. The summit was presided over by Yan Shichun, vice-director of the coal transaction center.

Qu Jianwu, director of the transaction center, delivered a keynote speech on developments and innovations regarding the new conditions for online trade of bulk commodities, attracting the attention of those present at the summit. Qu explained China's economic situation, the mid-term and long-term development of China's coal industry, online trade of bulk commodities in the country, how online trade serves the real economy, as well as ideas about building a multi-tier and diversified transaction center.
