The Shanxi Brand China Tour's Chongqing stop had its opening at the Chongqing International Exhibition Center, on Nov 1, with 37 Shanxi companies there to promote hundreds of Shanxi specialties and products and attracting many locals who have come to get a look at the specialties and see some Shanxi folk songs and noodle demonstrations.

The three-day Shanxi brand exhibition in Chongqing covers an 800-square–meter area, with the 8th China Senior Citizen Industrial Expo running simultaneously, which will help increase the influence of Shanxi brands.

Sun Yuejin, head of Shanxi provincial's commerce bureau, explained that the Shanxi companies involved have gained a lot of experience from their sales and signing of contracts, in the past five stops on the tour and have found many more business opportunities.
