Some scenic spots close at Sheshan amid recent COVID-19 outbreak

Some scenic spots in the Shanghai Sheshan National Forest Park recently announced that they were suspending operations in the wake of the current COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai.

According to local epidemic prevention and control requirements, some facilities and areas in the scenic spots will be closed or have adjusted hours of operation.

When visiting scenic spots that are still open to the public, please wear a mask correctly, practice social distancing, and follow COVID-19 prevention and control measures.

Shanghai Happy Valley announced on March 13 that in order to ensure the health and safety of the general public and tourists amid the recent outbreak, it will be temporarily closed from March 14 until further notice.

Please stay updated on Shanghai Happy Valley's official website, WeChat public account, official Weibo account or call the customer service phone number 021-33552222 for the latest information.

Tourists who have booked tickets for Shanghai Happy Valley can apply for a full refund, or extend it to any day before June 30 (including June 30). The validity period for the annual card will be extended according to the number of days the park is closed.

Shanghai Chenshan Botanical Garden announced on March 11 that its greenhouse will be closed from March 11 until further notice.

Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park announced on March 11 that it will temporarily close all indoor venues from March 11 until further notice. Visitors who have reserved tickets for the venues can refund their tickets.

Shanghai Sheshan National Forest Park announced on March 12 that it will be temporarily closed from March 12 until further notice.

Shanghai Shimao Dream City announced on March 12 that the Wonderland Area will be temporarily closed from March 12 (the Smurfs Theme Park has been closed since March 11) until further notice. Shanghai Moon Lake Sculpture Park announced on March 12 that it will be temporarily closed from March 12 until further notice.

Shanghai Tianma Country Club announced on March 12 that it will suspend operations from March 12 until further notice.

The latest COVID-19 outbreak in Shanghai started on March 1. The city’s public health authorities are racing against the clock to curb the outbreak. Many parks and cultural facilities in the city have suspended operations.
