A cultural creative center was recently opened at Guangfulin County Park, Songjiang district of Shanghai, aiming to offer students a platform to display and sell their creative products.
The center was jointly built by more than 40 colleges in Shanghai including Fudan University. Nearly 200 students and teachers are showcasing their products for sales. Now a total of 3,000 have been put on the "online + offline" shelves.
"What college students lack is not only capital, but also a window for products to flow to the market. So we provide a free platform for teachers and students," said Zhong Xiaoling, a worker at the center.
Some Songjiang elements have also been blended into the products including Guangfulin Cultural Relics Park and Sheshan Marian Basilica. In addition to cheongsam, silk scarves, umbrellas, pendants and traditional cultural products, some high-quality products are also here such as national intangible cultural heritage porcelain and erhu, a two-stringed bowed instrument.
