Guests at Shanghai's Chenshan Botanical Garden were treated to a symphony of sound on May 14-15, when musicians and singers from home and abroad took to the stage performing classic movie themes and traditional folk songs.
It's the fifth time such a concert has been performed at the garden which played host to 15 varied musical performances.

Classic movie soundtracks were the main theme on the first day featuring performances from the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Robert Zeiglar and accompanied by the group "Vocal Force". Memorable scores from Hollywood hits such as E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Jaws and Jurassic Park were given a new lease of life, to the delight of the audience.

Other classics included a selection of James Bond themes, such as "Writing’s on the Wall" from 2015's Spectre, and John Williams' score for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.
