Shanghai's two sculpture parks seek development in culture and art by signing an agreement with Shandong's university.[Photo/chinadaily.com.cn]

When Shanghai's Yuehu Sculpture Park signed a cooperation agreement with the city's Jing'an Sculpture Park and Shandong province's East China Normal University, on Nov 13, for their common development in culture and art, they expected to see some winning results in sponsoring exhibitions, art workshops, and souvenir sales to raise the city's sculpture parks to world-famous status.

Observing the signing were Sheng Yafei, Shanghai's Songjiang district Party secretary, Sun Jianping, the Jing'an district Party secretary, and Tong Shijun, the university's Party secretary.

Jing'an Sculpture Park also plans to set up special areas where the university's students can exhibit their work, and to hold seminars for sculpture professionals from all over the country to discuss their techniques.
