A two-day children's summer camp was recently held at the Chenshan Botanical Garden at the Sheshan National Tourist Resort, Songjiang district of Shanghai, to broaden their knowledge of plants.

The camp invited some plant scientists to teach children different plants picking and plant specimen preparation. The camp also took children on a night visit to the garden's conservatory, which is the largest in its kind in Asia, housing more than 3,000 varieties of plants.

The Chenshan Botanical Garden holds regular summer and winter camps for children every year.
