Sherry Madera, special adviser for Asia appointed by City of London, said that she hoped City of London could grasp opportunities generated by China's Belt and Road Initiative to stimulate financial innovation and bring benefits to both sides.

Hui Mei, vice president of China Financial Futures Exchange, expressed the hope that these developments will solve the problem of talent shortage and believes talent training will be improved over time through the exchange between Lujiazui Financial City and City of London.

In recent years, Lujiazui Financial City has created a prestigious job fair that has toured leading universities, both domestically and internationally, and Han Yong, general manager of Huatai-Pine Bridge Investments, spoke highly of employees recruited through these fairs. Han, as representative of many within his field, hopes the efforts of Lujiazui Financial City will continue to result in the arrival of talented financial workers from all across the globe.
