Over 10 engineers who are specialized in artificial intelligent driving software development, system integration, and testing will work in the center, focusing on the development of the automotive intelligent driving system and road testing of Lotus' first pure electric SUV, Li added.
Li also said that Jiading district is home to domestically leading intelligent-connected automobile testing roads and supportive policies, which are capable to offer the company mature technology and a safety guarantee.
In addition, as an automobile industry base that ranks first in comprehensive competitiveness in China, Jiading district attracted Lotus Technology with its complete automobile industry chain and a large number of high-tech automobile companies, Li added.
