Located in Xuhang Industrial Park in Jiading district, an innovation base for intelligent driving is under construction and will be put into production in July, 2023.
The innovation base will be designed to house both domestic and foreign renowned automobile companies, online service providers, and information technology providers that are involved in cloud computing, intelligent cities, big data, and intelligent driving.
Hotwon, a data solutions provider, and a private equity company CITICPE, have already laid down their investments and will construct the innovation base in three phases.
The first phase received a total investment of 6.2 billion yuan ($974.39 million) and will consist of four data center rooms. Its annual output value is expected to reach 2.36 billion yuan after reaching production capacity.
Established in 2013 and headquartered in Jiading district, Hotwon's new-generation data center operations focus on the high-growth market in China's digital economy. The company has branches in Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu, and Hangzhou. It will keep bolstering its efforts to expand businesses in major cities and contribute to the national strategies of infrastructure construction and artificial intelligence.
