To cope with the challenging situation of COVID-19 and to implement increased epidemic prevention and control measures, 31 provinces, municipalities, and autonomous regions have released rules for trans-provincial travel. People from different risk-level areas have to abide by the following requirements or possess the following materials when traveling to Shanghai:
From low-risk areas: A green health code.
From medium-risk areas: A 14-day community health management, two nucleic acid tests.
From high-risk areas: a 14-day isolated quarantine and observation, two nucleic acid tests.
People who come from medium or high-risk areas have to report to the community or company or the hotel they are staying at within 12 hours after arriving in Shanghai.
