Jiading holds tech fair for Yangtze River Delta region

The first Scientific Technology Fair for the Yangtze River Delta Region opened in Jiading district, Shanghai, on Nov 28.

The three-day event, co-organized by the governments of Jiading, Suzhou and Wenzhou, was aimed at promoting the integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region and building a platform for technological innovation cooperation and exchanges in the region.

The event was also intended to explore paths of innovation in technology services and trade, build a technology service brand for the Yangtze River Delta region, and advance the gathering of technological, industrial, and talent resources in the region.

One highlight of the event was an exhibition area for emerging industries such as information technology, new energy, health care, and high-end manufacturing, where many Jiading enterprises displayed their latest technology and products.

Shanghai Xinditong Communication Technology Co showed its achievements in quantum communications. Additionally, Shanghai Simgui Technology Co exhibited its silicon-on-insulator wafer and epitaxial silicon wafer.

Other companies such as Shanghai Xinman Crystalline Material Technology Co and United Imaging also attended the event.

Apart from the exhibition, the fair also held forums and road shows to present cutting-edge ideas and innovative achievements.
