Schedule of the 2017 Shanghai Auto Culture Festival (Part 1)

The 2017 Shanghai Auto Culture Festival, spanning more than a month, got started on April 7 in Shanghai's Jiading district.

The festival has 13 activities on hand to give auto fans an auto feast and to showcase the beauties of Jiading to visitors.

Here are some of the major events taking place during this year's auto culture festival.

Formula One Chinese Grand Prix

The Formula One World Championship China stop, sponsored by Federation Internationale de l'Automobile, took place at the Shanghai International Circuit in the city's Jiading district on April 7-9. Nearly 200,000 visitors from China and abroad flocked to Jiading to enjoy this world's first-rated car race and to experience the charm and beauty of the host district.

Spring and Summer Season of Auto Races

A variety of auto races brought in by Juss Event, China's largest international events management company, will delight auto enthusiasts in May. The events include the Renault Clio Cup China Series, the GT Masters, and the FRD LMP3 Series.
