The works have been created by painters from the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy and cover a range of themes. The works merge elements of traditional Chinese painting with contemporary innovative ideas and techniques.
Several works depict roosters, on account of 2017 being Year of Rooster in traditional Chinese lunar calendar, while other works capture a range of beautiful rural landscapes, a reflection of nature's renewal as the seasons change.
