Jiading to enhance cooperation with research institutes

The Jiading government signed a strategic agreement with eight research institutes at a symposium on July 12, in a bid to deepen cooperation and promote the construction of the district's core region for innovation.

The institutes are involved in various fields, such as optics and fine mechanics, microsystems and IT, ceramics, technological physics, applied physics, computer science, and nuclear.

As per the agreement, the Jiading government will create preferential policies for the research institutes to help them build R&D platforms, attract talents, and implement technology industrialization.

Ma Chunlei, Party chief of Jiading, attended the meeting and noted that scientific research institutes play an important role in Jiading's scientific innovation and development. He said, to stand out in the fields of scientific technology and the auto industry, Jiading will focus on promoting its industrial restructuring and technology industrialization.

The district will also accelerate the construction of its core innovation regions, bring in more talents, improve government services and working mechanisms, and enhance its cooperation with scientific research institutes, said Ma.
