With the mission of learning about the district's economic development and social facilities, a delegation from Jiangxi province led by Party chief Qiang Wei visited Jiading district of Shanghai on Dec 6.

The delegation toured the Jiading New City Planning Exhibition Hall, Jiading Library and Shanghai United Imaging Medical Technology Co, accompanied by Ying Yong, deputy Party chief of Shanghai, Ma Chunlei, Party chief of Jiading, and Gao Yun, head of Jiading.

Ma Chunlei briefed the delegates about Jiading's social and economic development and said that the district aims to be a core area of Shanghai. Ma also introduced the design and services of the district's library and added that over 4,000 people come to the library every day.

Qiang Wei spoke highly of Jiading's social development and public facilities and said that they will learn from its good measures.

Jiading was only one stop of the delegation's Shanghai visit. The delegation also visited the Lujiazui Finance and Trade Zone in Shanghai's Pudong New District. They considered Shanghai a leading municipality in areas such as transportation, administration management, environmental protection and smart city construction, so they signed a cooperation agreement with the city.

Guyi Garden in Shanghai's Jiading district was recently rated as one of the 21 Shanghai digital scenic spots by the Shanghai Municipal Administration of Culture and Tourism, local media outlets reported on Jan 19.
