The Qingu Culture Garden in Jiangqiao town, Shanghai’s Jiading district, recently opened to the public, becoming another cultural attraction following the Shanghai Painting and Calligraphy Academy, Wutong Art Gallery and Chunyuan Cultural Development Center in the town.
The garden covers an area of over 1,000 square meters, with a cluster of Huizhou-style residences, pavilions, terraces and a pool.
It will serve as a place for painting and a calligraphy exhibition, traditional Chinese art training and cultural recreations, said Ma Yunzhong, owner of the garden.
The garden will also invite well-known artists in Shanghai to give residents professional guidance on art training.
