Li Bo, born in 1968, is a male of Han ethnicity from Zhaoyuan, Shandong province. He joined the Communist Party of China in April 1991 and began to work in July 1991. He got a master's degree from the Party School of the CPC Shandong Provincial Committee.

He is currently the vice-mayor of Yantai, Shandong province as well as a member of the Party leadership group of the Yantai municipal government.
