Yantai cultural innovations highlighted at China fair

A series of cultural and tourism products from Yantai, a coastal city of East China's Shandong province are on exhibit at the first China International Cultural Tourism Fair from Sept 17 to 21 in Jinan.
The Yantai exhibition area, covering an area of 390 square meters, focuses on marine ranches, wine tasting, cheongsam display, and martial art performances.
A total of 20 of the city's intangible cultural heritage items are being displayed as well, including woolen embroidery, dough modeling, Laizhou brushes, gourd carving, and straw weaving.
The fair is also being held online, and visitors can buy any product by scanning QR codes issued by staff during live streams.
