A total of 23 enterprises signed a cooperation agreement to jointly build the National Industrial Design of Intelligent Manufacturing in Yantai, Shandong province on Aug 26.

The enterprises included Moon-tech Environmental Technology Co, Dongfang Electronics Corporation, and State Grid Corporation of China.

A total of 12 universities, including Shandong University, China University of Petroleum, and Shandong University of Science and Technology, signed an agreement to participate in the construction of the China Unified Innovation University of Industrial Design.

China Unified Innovation University of Industrial Design is sponsored by the China Industrial Design Association and 50 famous design institutes and firms from home and abroad. It will train talent for the industrial design industry.

The award ceremony for the third Shandong Governor Cup Industrial Design Competition was also held during the event.
