The China-Japan Science and Technology Innovation Park and China-Japan Economic and Cultural Exchange Center are set to be launched at the CECEP Science and Technology Park, local media reported on May 22.
The CECEP Science and Technology Park will provide a comprehensive platform for sharing resources, promoting industrial upgrading, and further pursuing opening up. It has already established several key projects such as a 5G laboratory and a research institute for the ultra-high definition industry.
The China-Japan Science and Technology Innovation Park is a part of the China-Japan Industrial Park and has a planned area of 12.7 square kilometers.
The industrial park is expected to consist of three different areas: a new-generation information technology park, an industrial base for Japanese SMEs, and the China-Japan Science and Technology Innovation Park.
It will focus on the design, manufacture, and packaging of chips, production applications, and the third-generation WBG semiconductor industry.
