Laizhou writing brushes
As one of the most famous supplies for calligraphy, the Laizhou writing brush has a long 600-year history. It was included as an imperial tribute since the Kangxi period (1654-1722) of the Qing Dynasty.

Laiyang pears
A county-level city in Yantai, Laiyang is famous for pears, enjoying an equal reputation alongside Yantai's renowned apples.
As one of the most well-known local products of Shandong Province, Laiyang pears feature textured yellow-green peels and a succulent taste. The pears have been listed as an imperial tribute since the reign of Emperor Wanli of the Ming Dynasty (1574-1620).
Pears are rich in sugars, organic acids and vitamins. In addition to being served as fresh fruit, Laiyang pears can also be dried or preserved, as well as made into jam, wine and vinegar. The pears are an ideal ingredient for cough syrup.
