The Yantai E-Commerce Industrial Park in Zhifu district, Yantai, Shandong province hosted a large scale cooperation event from July 22 to 23 where more than 300 e-commerce companies from across the country exchanged ideas and insights on the industry.
The second phase of the Yantai E-Commerce Industrial Park was unveiled after various e-commerce enterprises reached cooperation agreements with the park at the meeting. Agreements were made by Osell, Zhongdamen, Shanghai Agricultural Products Central Wholesale Market, Fruit Day, and Guoyixian. E-Commerce giants Alibaba and Amazon also took part in the meeting to share their opinions on cross-border and rural e-commerce.
The second phase of Yantai E-Commerce Industrial Park will add a cross-border e-commerce managing center to provide a comprehensive range of services including bonded storage, intelligent logistics and financial payment facilities.
The city of Yantai has been seeking to attract investment in the fields of e-commerce, human resources and cultural creativity industries since last year. Currently, Yantai is home to three national industrial parks, the Yantai 1861 Cultural Creativity Industrial Park, Yantai Human Resources Industrial Park and the Yantai E-Commerce Industrial Park.
