Media delegation visits Korean school in Yantai

A group of more than 20 journalists from 12 major South Korean media outlets paid a visit to a Korean school located in Laishan district of Yantai, a coastal city in east China's Shandong province. The visit was part of a three-day fact-finding trip in the city was aimed at reporting the development and friendly bond between the Yantai and ROK.
The school, funded by the Korean branch of the Foreign-invested Enterprises Association, is the only of its kind in Shandong province authorized by both education departments from South Korea and China.
"It is really astonishing to find that, apart from close economic cooperation, exchanges in culture and education has also been enhanced between Yantai and South Korea," said Wang Xin, a reporter from Korea Industry Post.
The trip, entitled "Discovering Yantai", was jointly organized by China Daily and Yantai Municipal government. During the trip, a group of senior reporters from ROK visited more than 20 Yantai-ROK joint-venture enterprises, communities and campuses.
